Times Square República, installation with LED panels, 90 x 50 x 12 in (228 x 128 x 30 cm) [size of the display], 2019

This work is part of “Arte Passagem,” a project developed by two Brazilian artists, for which artists were invited to design a work for a commercial display in República, a neighborhood of São Paulo. “Times Square República” consisted of a collection of LED panel works borrowed from the artists Agrippina Manhattan, Keyla Sobral, Leandro Muniz, Rafaela Foz, and Santarosa. None of the works contained phrases directly related to consumption or sales.
